Kitchen Renovations...

Weston, CT.	Exquisite maple cabinetry topped with crown molding installed in a magnificent new home. Uba Tuba granite counters surround a commercial Viking cook top framed by an understated earth tone tile backsplash. Stainless microwave is within easy reach. Close by, a separate island comfortably seating 5, with recycling bins and ample storage. A whisper quiet Bosch dishwasher sits right next to the stainless under mount sink. Independent hutch and desk feature custom maple tops. Stainless Subzero frig and combination convection / conventional gas wall oven provide the ultimate in flexibility and convenience.

Trumbull, CT.	Rich maple cabinetry topped with crown molding highlight this elegant kitchen remodel. Subtle Italian floor tile is complemented by tumbled botticino marble backsplashes adjacent to the under mount sink and gas stove preparation areas. Appliances are stainless and energy star rated. Understated granite counter tops - featuring Giallo Veneziano with all its depth, movement, texture and variety- highlight the space. Great design always pleases! A wall was removed to open it all up, allowing light and people to circulate freely throughout this delightful gem.

New Milford, CT.	Renovated kitchen in 200 year old colonial antique, including new incandescent air sealed down lights, new countertops and tile backsplashes with rope and listel accents, new floor with custom stained oak inlays, updated laundry room adjacent to kitchen with new shelving and telephone desk.

Baths...

Stamford, CT	Remodeled a guest bathroom, removing an existing window and tiling over the opening. Replaced dated wall and floor tiles, installing all new plumbing fixtures, new vanity, new medicine cabinet, new fan and mirror lights, and updated baseboard heat.

Trumbull, CT	Created a spectacular master bath of approximately 165 square feet, featuring a nine foot ceiling, sky light and new whirlpool for two. Replaced leaky shower door and tile with gorgeous new custom tiled walls and flooring, upgraded glass shower door and designer tile tub surround with custom decking. New plumbing fixtures, magnificent vanity with granite top and double under mount sinks. Sheetrock/trim painted to exacting designer standards.

Stamford, CT

Hired by a repeat client to update and enlarge an existing master bathroom and eliminate water leaking from a second floor shower to a first floor family room. Existing 8 foot ceiling replaced by a soaring 13 foot high cathedral ceiling. Floor area was increased 40% by expanding into adjacent garage ceiling area. New wall and floor tile throughout highlighted by custom accents. All new fixtures, understated cherry vanity with granite top and undermount sink,updated heating and elegant glass shower door."

Easton, CT	Created a new master bathroom in an existing antique cape, including framing repairs to floor and exterior wall, new subfloor installation, new wall and floor tile, and all new plumbing fixtures.

Finished Basements...

Weston, CT	Created a playroom, studio and future bathroom area of approximately 1000 square feet for a repeat client in a 4 year old colonial. Improvements included a new subfloor with air space beneath; custom shelving; colonial trim; fire, sag, and noise resistant suspended acoustical ceiling; wall-to-wall closed loop berber carpet; tiled door entry; and separate demised storage and utility room areas.

Stratford, CT	Created a family room, half-bath with tile floor, and storage closet. Also included a new subfloor with air space beneath; window replacement; colonial window and door trim; custom box trim to conceal 3 Lally columns; new stair handrail; fire, sag, and moisture resistant suspended acoustical ceiling; separate laundry room and storage areas.

Huntington, CT	Created an artist’s studio of approximately 1,500 square feet, including new subfloor to accommodate heavy print making press loads, new separate zone for HVAC, full bath, utility room, storage room, and utility sink clean up section.

Interior Trim...

Southport, CT	Crown Molding. Installed in the living and dining rooms of a classic antique cape.

Stratford, CT	New Trim. Installed throughout a two story, 3 room colonial addition including pull down attic stair, crown molding, new pocket door, 2 cased openings, colonial trim on windows/doors, and 2 piece base throughout.

Weston, CT	New Trim. Installed casing on 60 windows in two new homes. Also hung 40 interior doors and cased both sides. Set 8 vanities, custom built 3 whirlpool tub decks and installed 2000 lineal feet of 2 piece base.

Easton, CT	New Interior Doors. Installed (i) 4 sets of double doors in existing cased openings and (ii) a new six panel pine door to fit an existing jamb, all with new hardware.

Room Enlargement/Modification...

Westport, CT	Double Doors. Brightened up a living room, replacing a 3 foot wide glass door with double French patio doors. By doubling to 6 feet wide, the sun shines in and entertaining is easier, with more room to circulate when the doors are open. New casing was custom made to match other living room trim profiles. And all was engineered to ensure structural integrity and minimal impact from construction.

Greenwich, CT	Larger Kitchen/Dining Room. Enlarged a living room, dining room, and kitchen area in an existing cape. A wall separating the dining and living rooms was replaced by a half wall with bookshelves creating an open feel yet still delineating the two spaces. To make more space, a closet was eliminated and rebuilt elsewhere. All walls and ceilings were patched and prepared to receive new kitchen cabinetry.
